I am a native Englishspeaking South African currently employed as an ESL Teacher in China, who is seeking relevant opportunities in Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Sanya in October . I have a Masters degree in Geological Sciences graduated cum laude and a Hour TEFL Certification from itoi TEFL. I have over . year experience as an ESL Teacher and over years of lecturing and tutoring experience at an university level. I am currently employed by English First as an ESL Teacher. This role requires me to plan lessons using a variety of teaching methodologies in order to reach optimal language development. During this time, I have been responsible for creating a dynamic and positive teaching environment through the use of classroom management strategies and enthusiastic teaching approaches. My passion and drive for this field has resulted in me conducting trainings to local and foreign teachers alike. I conduct Demo Classes to the public to demonstrate teaching techniques and I have been involved in public lessons that are used for marketing strategies at the company. Prior to this, I was employed by the University of KwaZuluNatal Discipline of Geological Sciences as a Lecturer for first year Geology practical sessions from July – December . The duties of this role included a development of curriculum, lecturing, setting and marking of examinations, and the dealing of relevant administrative tasks associated with my teaching. As an individual, I am capable of learning independently and also functioning in teambuilding scenarios as a valuable member of such. I am a wellmannered, hardworking and enthusiastic individual, in combination with an intelligent nature. I am thus convinced that I will prove myself to be a valuable contributor to any organisation.
