Beijing - China's National Observatory on Friday renewed the yellow alert for heavy mist in some regions of the country.

From Friday afternoon until Saturday morning, the thick fog is expected to know the waters of the northern part. From the Gulf of Beibu, the Strait of Qiongzhou, the coastal waters of Guangxi, the Leizhou Peninsula, Western Guangdong and the North Hainan Island, according to the National Meteorological Center (NMC).

Visibility In some affected areas it will be reduced to less than 1,000 meters, the NMC said.

Said controllers should decrease speed at safe speeds, and airports, highways and ports should take adequate security measures.

China has a four -ther colored-encoded warning system for severe weather, with red is the most serious, followed by orange, yellow and blue.
